essensys, the leading global provider of software and technology to the flexible workspace industry, has appointed Dan Suozzi as Senior Vice President, East Coast Business Development. Leading a team of business development professionals, Suozzi will be instrumental in continuing to grow the firm’s global footprint in the eastern U.S., helping owners and landlords leverage software and technology to deliver next generation flexible workspaces.

Suozzi comes to essensys with more than 16 years of experience in commercial real estate as a broker and developer for workspace operators and solution providers. He most recently served as Chief Real Estate Officer at Breather a global space as-a-service provider with a best-in-class technology solution.

“I’m excited to welcome Dan to the essensys team,” said Jeremy Bernard, CEO, North America, essensys. “His depth and diversity of experience in commercial real estate and strategic organizational development will be a major asset as we continue to enable landlords to deliver flexible real estate solutions across the country.”

Suozzi served as Vice President of Business Development and later Chief Revenue Officer for Workframe, a software provider for commercial real estate project management. While there, he was instrumental in the successful pivot from managed services powered by technology to a SaaS platform. He also served as Director of Real Estate, East Coast Region, for commercial real estate firm IWG, where he managed a portfolio of more than 350 locations and 8 million rentable square feet of office space. In addition to his software and strategic growth record, he has extensive experience brokering deals at JLL in NYC.

“I’m honored to join a firm helping to build the future of the commercial office landscape through technology,” said Suozzi. “I look forward to working with a forward-thinking team supporting a wide-scale shift in the way people and companies think about flex space in driving business culture and success.”
