What is elumo?+
elumo is a meeting-room revenue solution for flex workspaces. It is the only real-time booking and access solution at the door — members book, unlock and have the charge recorded with a single tap, so every minute of demand is captured and billed.
How does tap-to-book work?+
A member taps a pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet (or a physical NFC card) on the elumo Reader at the door. In under half a second it books the room, records the charge, and unlocks the door — no app and no front desk required.
Does elumo replace my booking system?+
No. elumo adds the tap-to-book and at-the-door access layer and syncs in real time with your existing booking system, where the booking and charge are recorded. There is no migration.
What spaces can elumo be used for?+
A range of indoor, door-controlled spaces — meeting rooms, vacant offices between leases, phone booths and quiet zones — can be made bookable and revenue-generating.
What hardware does elumo need?+
Usually, one elumo Reader and one Hub per door. elumo works with compatible existing locks, and essensys can also supply wireless locks that fit existing doors. No-CapEx options are available.
