essensys welcomes new hires in the APAC team

essensys introduces new hires in the APAC team — Sean Lucas as Head of Sales, ANZ, and Angie Wong as Head of Human Resources, APAC. As the key sales lead for the ANZ business, Sean will build relationships with focused clients in Australia and New Zealand, while Angie will lead and manage HR projects and operations across the APAC region for essensys.

“We are very excited to welcome industry veterans, Sean and Angie, to the growing APAC team in our key offices in Hong Kong and Sydney. They bring valuable expertise and a significant depth of knowledge to scale our business in Asia,” said Eric Schaffer, CEO Asia Pacific of essensys.

Sean was previously Director, Client Solutions and Flexible Real Estate Lead, at Knight Frank, in Australia. He assisted key corporate clients with transaction advisory and management services, with a focus on flexible and hybrid work solutions. Prior to that, Sean led the Enterprise Sales team in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia for global workspace provider, IWG plc, where he supported clients with cross-border managed solutions and flexible workspace strategies.

Angie has built her career in HR with a core focus on APAC and start-ups. She has strong expertise in operations, and building and leading the HR function at her previous role with coworking operator, The Hive, in Hong Kong. Her joining symbolises essensys’ ambitions to build and empower an APAC team to drive business growth in the region.
