essensys is excited to announce that Menai Science Park (M-Sparc), Wales’ first dedicated Science Park, has joined our community of tech-driven workspace operators. essensys will deliver their full suite of science park IT and workspace management to M-Sparc staff and member community.
Located on the Anglesey Island in North Wales, M-Sparc, a subsidiary of Bangor University has built a brand-new state-of-the-art workspace, providing 5,000 square meters of sophisticated office, lab and workshop space for startups and larger corporate companies.
After receiving £20m worth of funding, its doors finally opened to new businesses in early 2018. M-Sparc will host companies, businesses, and research projects that are linked with knowledge-based science, energy, environmental services and clean technology enterprises.
M-Sparc will use Connect by essensys to take control of their science park IT, running their facilities on scalable software-enabled IT infrastructure. Operate by essensys will serve as a system of record and day-to-day platform for operations, member self-service and unified billing. M-Sparc were particularly impressed with essensys’ industry knowledge and array of enterprise-grade features.
