We’re also excited to reiterate our excitement to be part of this year’s upcoming GCUC USA event taking place in Denver April 15th through the 18th. Read on for more details of both juicy announcements.
Coworking Webinar Series
There’s no shortage of information that can be absorbed about coworking. And who better to bring it to you than the leaders in the coworking movement? GCUC’s Executive Director, Liz Elam and coworking technology leaders, essensys, are teaming up to bring you a four-part webinar series throughout 2019.
Our first event will be held on March 19th and we’re tackling a chunky topic: Coworking Market Data. We’ll be joined by flex-space data and research leaders Instant Offices and Emergent Research. You won’t want to miss it. Learn more and register for the webinar now.
GCUC USA – Coworking takes Denver
GCUC USA heads to the Mile-High City this year after two consecutive years in the Big Apple. 2019 marks the fourth year that essensys are top-tier sponsors – and this year, global supporters of the world’s largest coworking event.
Following the standard GCUC format, Day 1 of GCUC is for coworking novices and those looking to find out all the beginners must-know information about opening and running a coworking space. Experienced coworking owners and operators guide the audience on Finance, Technology, Community, Design and Branding.
Day 2 delves into the real meat of the GCUC event. This year, with a greater focus on wellness, Philip Vanhoutte from Ozadi will discuss how incorporating elements of nature will benefit your coworking space and members. This year’s event also takes a look at women who are fundraising, rapidly expanding their brands, and putting a nice dent in the coworking market.
One of the greatest benefits of going to GCUC – aside from the endless networking and learning opportunities – is to get the latest market and data research results. This year data and research get a roundtable session in which three industry-leading organizations, Emergent Research, Instant Offices, and Deskmag, will present key findings and debate the implications on the coworking market.
With the expansion of coworking, niche spaces have become a treasure trove of opportunity for operators and occupants alike. GCUC Day 1 covers the evolution of specialized spaces and their importance to the market. It will also cover Design for Differentiating in a Saturated Market, presented by Jonathan Puleio from Humanscale, Jacob Bates from Common Grounds and Rachel Wilcox from Varidesk.
Also, on Day 1: The Coworky Awards! For three consecutive years, GCUC recognizes the spaces, places and people making the coworking industry so successful. Categories range from Best Amenity in a Coworking Space, Best Space Design, Best Furniture, Furry Coworking Friend, Best Technology and Social Impact Program.
Remember last year? essensys won the Coworky Award for the Best Technology to Run your Space! We’d count on taking the category for the win again this year, but per the rules, we can’t be nominated and win over two consecutive years. You can, however, vote for our Furry Friend and Chief Bark Officer, Bruno! Voting will take place on March 2nd – 31st, so don’t waste time!
essensys welcomes you to join us for the Closing Party on Tuesday, April 16th at Temple Night Club. We can’t promise you’ll be home before midnight, but we will promise you’ll have a good time.
GCUC Day 2: The Unconference and a GCUC Surprise
If you’re a GCUC newbie, you’ll want to prepare for the Unconference that happens on Day 2. Organizers will give the attendees a voice in what topics will be covered in the afternoon sessions. In the past crowd-sourced sessions have covered the Future of Work, Coworking Technology, and Community, and many among others. Let’s mix it up this year! Put your thinking caps before you submit your top picks for the most unique coworking topics that you want your peer’s input on.
On Day 2 GCUC has a big surprise for us. What will it be? We’ll have to wait until 10:45 AM on April 17th to find out! In the meantime, don’t wait to get your tickets to GCUC. Meet essensys in Denver and learn how about our mission-critical software and how it can help you run a more efficient flex-space operation while keeping members happier, longer.
